dua - Directory User Agent. A Unix based interactive tool used to query an LDAP Directory Server.
dua is an LDAP client, it uses the LDAP protocol to talk to an LDAP Server. It is used to search, create and modify entries in the directory.
It makes use of the ldaptemplates.conf file for display routines.
Supported Platforms
dua needs to be compiled with libraries from OpenLDAP 2.x, Kerberos 5, and SASL if one is to take advantage of dua's bind and modify commands. It has been successfully compiled and tested on the following platforms:
